MOST Memorable Moment from the Military:
While deployed to Ramadi, Iraq, I was pulling security from my turret when a frantic young Iraqi boy came running up. The interpreter came over and said the boy seen men planting bombs on our route. We contacted EOD, who confirmed the boys story and disposed of the IED. The next time we were in that area I signaled for that kid to come over. With the help of my interpreter, I told him that he saved several lives by telling us about those bombs, and that I'm proud to call him a friend. Then I pinned a set of MP crossed pistols on his collar. He was ecstatic and all his friends were jealous. One of my proudest moments.
